Artist Statement - About Me

Linda Triplett I am Linda Triplett, a lifelong creative person and a late-in-life photographer, discovering joy in the beauty that surrounds me. From the delicate details of flowers to the fleeting flight of birds, I find wonder in all things, often discovering the Hidden Beauty within each image.

With my husband Mark as my teacher and cheerleader, I picked up a camera at the young age of 72, and I have not looked back. Each image I create is an expression of love and a piece of my heart shared with you. My work is not only about capturing a moment, but about discovering the Hidden Beauty in nature, and sharing them with you.

I find beauty in the quiet moments of life, from the curve of a petal to the motion of a bird mid-flight. Photography, which I discovered later in life, has become a profound way for me to appreciate the beauty and grace the world offers.

Each image I create is rooted in love at its core. My work is not only about capturing a moment, but about offering a piece of myself to share with you.

With the gentle encouragement of my husband and mentor, Mark, I picked up a camera and began to see the world with fresh eyes, through a lens of wonder, reverence, and discovery. Mark calls me a natural. I consider myself a grateful student, still learning and in awe of all that life offers.

What draws me to photography is the act of noticing. The way light touches a petal. The blur of a wing in motion. The stillness between moments. These small, quiet miracles move me. Capturing them feels like a way of honoring life as it is, fleeting, fragile, and wonderful.

When someone connects with my work, I feel seen. When they choose to bring it into their home, I feel humbled and deeply blessed. This is my offering to you: a glimpse of the world as I see it, with eyes open to wonder, and a heart wide open.

I am also the author of Healing Reflections for a Grieving Mom's Heart, a book on how to cope with losing someone you love. I lost my son, Adam, in 1997. From that tragedy, I was put on a different life path, one I would never have chosen.

If you or anyone you know suffers the loss of a loved one, I urge you to visit my Amazon page and read about my book.
